The West Lancashire Festival of Transport 2007
The West Lancashire Festival of Transport 2007 today celebrated its eighth year at the Leisure Lakes, Mere Brow near Southport.
The huge fields have successfully hosted transport shows in the past and today’s show was no exception and turned out to be the best ever.
The show proved to be a great family day out with displays of classic cars, commercial vehicles, vintage motorcycles, military vehicles, tractors and stationary engines.
There were also the usual trade stalls, craft stalls, children’s entertainment, food and refreshments.
All proceeds from the show go to local charities, the main beneficiary being Derian House Children’s Hospice in Chorley.
Pictured below are photographs from today’s event.
